A. Subscribe to our mailing list and like our Facebook page @NZTVAwards to stay up to date.

AWARDS:

Q: When is the New Zealand Television Craft Awards Ceremony?
A. The Craft Awards Ceremony, presented by Showtools, will be held at Bar 21 – SKYCITY on Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Q: When is the New Zealand Television Main Awards Ceremony?
A. The NZTV Awards Ceremony will be held at SKYCITY on Thursday 30 November 2017.

TICKETS:

Q: How do I buy tickets?
Ticket Sales for The New Zealand Television Awards 2017 are open to the industry until Tuesday 21 November 2017. As there is limited capacity at the venue, we are expecting tickets to sell out, and will be issuing tickets on a first in, first served basis. Please return your completed ticketing form by 5pm Tuesday 21 November to avoid disappointment!

JUDGING:

Q. When does judging take place?
A. The 2017 Judging Period began Monday 11 September and concluded on Sunday 8 October 2017.

Q. How are the entries judged?
A. Each judge will be part of a panel of 5 judges. Each panel will judge the entries for 1-2 categories, with each member reviewing the entries and submitting their entries independently via our online judging platform, with the winner of the award based on the final scorecard collated by the judging portal.

ENTRIES:

Entries into the 2017 NZ TV Awards are now closed.
The eligibility period for this years NZ Television Awards will cover a two-year period from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2017.

FINALISTS:

Finalists in the Craft Awards categories are now listed on the Finalists 2017 tab.

Finalists in the remaining categories will be announced at the Craft Awards event on Wednesday 8 November.

Q: What happens if I am a finalist?
A: Congratulations! You will be notified before the ceremony. We will announce the Finalists at Television Craft Awards Ceremony on Wed 8 November 2017.

We will also request you provide up to 3 or 4 broadcast quality clips of your entry to be shown at the Awards Ceremony.

Q: Will I get a free ticket if I am a finalist?
A: Yes! In the event you are a Finalist in either the Craft or Main Awards you will receive one complimentary ticket to the NZ Television Awards Ceremony, and given first option to buy a partner ticket, before ticket sales are opened up to the industry.

Q: Will I get 2 tickets if I am a finalist in more than one category?
A: If you are a Finalist over more than one Category, only one complimentary ticket will be issued.

Q: How many complimentary tickets will we receive if we entered as a Team?
A: If a team becomes a Finalist, only two complimentary tickets will be issued.

Q: Can I give my complimentary ticket to a colleague?
A: No, unfortunately complimentary tickets are non-transferable.

WINNERS:

Q: Will I receive a trophy?
A: All individual award winners will receive a New Zealand Television Awards trophy.
If you enter as a team only one trophy will be received as a team.

Q: How much is it to buy an additional trophy?
If you require individual trophies, these can be provided at a cost of NZD $250 + GST each.
